ANY ROAD, ANY TIME The ENVE Foundation 45mm Wheelset draws on ENVE’s world-leading expertise to deliver an aero wheelset that meets the demands of the modern road cyclist and triathlete. The ENVE 45 benefits from a knowledge base that has been established over more than a decade’s worth of aero wheel development. To achieve the low drag and high stability performance the ENVE 45 offers, ENVE takes cues from its top of the line SES line up. This trickle down approach from ENVE’s top-of-the-line products means the ENVE 45’s outperform, or perform similar to, competitor’s wheels that are upmarket in price. Featuring ENVE’s Wide Hookless Bead technology, the ENVE 45 disperses any impact from pot holes, curbs and debris over a wide area, reducing the likelihood of pinch flats. Patented Molded Spoke and Valve Stem Hole Technology results in rims that are light and strong. Because carbon fibre gets its strength from continuous fibres, ENVE routes the fibres around the hole without cutting them which increases the strength of each spoke hole. The ENVE Foundation Road Hub features ENVE’s core hub technologies. The hub shell uses simplified machining without compromising flange geometry and wheel build stiffness. The drive mechanism uses Instant Drive 360 technology and a 40t ratchet to deliver responsive engagement, minimal drag, and low maintenance performance. We will shortly be relocating from our temporary operating base in Falmouth to Aberdeenshire. This is the final piece of the jigsaw in our move from Spain back to the UK.
During this time there will be a short period when our wheel building operation is suspended. We will however still be taking orders and talking to customers both via telephone and email.
If you are looking to place an order in the very near future then we would advise you to do so ASAP as we will be suspending our workshop operation from Friday 1st September, with a planned resumption date of Monday 9th October. Any orders taken after 1st September will be placed in our build queue and fulfilled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis once we are up and running again. Should you have an urgent requirement then please get in touch and we will do whatever we can to help.
